Afro Academy has been making waves this competition season, winning the Hit The Floor Gatineau All-Star Showcase, earning Best Performance at the Future Dance Competition, and taking third place at the Reprezent Showcase.
Force Collective on Quel Talent!
Force Collective, a team formed by l’Academie de Danse de Montreal dancers in
collaboration with Luca “Lazylegz” Patuelli, took the stage on Noovo’s season 2 of Quel
Talent! They shared a powerful message, Dance is for everyone, no excuses, no limits.
Lil Afro Krew’s GOLDEN BUZZER
Our team, Lil Afro Krew, received the Golden Buzzer from judge Rachid
Badouri on the show Quel T alent! on Noovo, which directly qualified them
for the semifinals!

Alicia Desjardins, one of our competitive students, had an outstanding season on Révolution TVA Season
4, making it to the “ballotage” round! Her journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

Lil Afro Krew on En direct de l’univers
Lil Afro Krew had the honour of performing on the New Year’s Eve episode of TV show “En direct de l’univers”, alongside pop artist LU KALA. Their vibrant energy and talent perfectly complemented the performance, creating a memorable moment on one of Quebec’s most popular television stages.
Fête Champêtre
Unity performed at Bonsecours Market for the “Fête champêtre” organized by the Armand-Frappier Foundation.
Société Alzheimer Montréal
Some of our amazing dancers, led by Sabrina Chabibi, taught a dance and participated in the Walk for Société Alzheimer Montréal.
The 7 Fingers
Our talented Abee J had the incredible opportunity to work with Les 7 Doigts, a Montreal-based collective that blends various art forms, with international creations and an innovative production center.
Vision showcase 2025
Afro Academy and Hybride were invited to perform at the Vision Dance Camp Showcase, an artistic platform for professionals in the Montreal dance community
No Limits
Anne Carla and her team “Force Collective”, took part in the No Limits event produced by Luca “lazy legs” and ill abilities.
Jeux de la Rue
Lil Afro Krew performed at Jeux de la Rue, a Montreal community driven project whose goal is to improve and diversify offered activities for the youth.

Hybride 2024-2025 competition season
Hybride continues to make an impact on major stages, earning a spot as finalists in the Future Dance Competition Showcase and being invited to perform at the prestigious World of Dance Montreal Showcase.

Hybride delivered an electrifying performance at Révolution – Chasse aux Étoiles, L’Ultime Tournée. Their dynamic energy and precision captivated the audience, showcasing their exceptional talent on one of Montreal’s most prestigious stages.
Second place studio of the year at 5678 showtime Mont Tremblant
L’Académie de danse de Montreal proudly won second place studio of the year at 5678 Showtime competition in Mont-Tremblant, a testament to our dancers’ hard work,versatility, and consistent high-level performances. The studio’s dedication and artistry truly stood out, leaving a lasting impression.
Zénith
Many of our dancers performed as backup dancers for singer Naadei on the television show Zénith choreographed by Sam Chouinard.
Chanteurs Masqués
Several students from L’Académie de Danse de Montréal performed in the opening number of the popular television show Chanteurs Masqués choreographed by Julie Dombrowski and François Pruneau.
More than a cure – Harvest Brunch
L’Académie de Danse de Montréal provided the hostesses for the Harvest Brunch event, including our dancer and teacher Sabrina Chabibi. This event aims to actively support women fighting breast cancer.
